Day 2 (Cont'd): Bidding farewell

After coming back from the field, we took a rest in the house and started to decorate the hall for closing ceremony later.

Kak Joyce was teaching them how to do origami.

The children were really passionate in learning how to do origami. Perhaps that was a new thing and it did trigger their interest.

Our supervisor Encik Shamsul arrived around noon, and then we launched our closing and price-giving ceremony.

Abang Zaf represented us to give a speech.

Lastly, it was the price-giving session for each group.

"Puan Norhayati said, she was very impressed with us because we were able to manage the children without any problem for two days, and she hoped that we can come to visit them again often. She mentioned again that the children wanted to be praised. That's why they were working so hard to impress us so that they could get our attention. Mr Shamsul was very satisfied with our performance. All the recognition from Puan Norhayati and Mr Shamsul was a reward for our hard works and sacrifices for this project. "  -Kak Rajesury.

So the two-days-one-night project wrapped up. After cleaning up the hall, we said bye-bye to the children and also the persons in charge there, and left the house full with memory.
